I use Kraaft as a site monitoring software for my road maintenance leases
Each year, 15 billion euros are invested in the maintenance of the road network in France. Municipalities and cities, which represent 37% of this budget, delegate the maintenance of their roads to local works centers. SRBG, Braja Vésigne, Watelet TP, SNTH: they all chose Kraaft to help them better monitor their construction sites. If you too want to strengthen trust with your customer and offer a dedicated interface for your road maintenance lease, this article is for you.

The challenges
Road maintenance leases sometimes generate up to half of the turnover of a public works agency. These purchase order contracts, renewable every 3 years, allow the company to have visibility on its revenues by avoiding the cumbersome tenders.
The downside is that the projects are of short duration. The preparation and follow-up work for each intervention is therefore very heavy. Between authorizations, securing construction sites, prior and receiving visits and attachments to be validated, the economic equation is not always easy.
For their part, the customer always wants more transparency. Upstream, he creates a Previsional Intervention Plan (PPI), which covers the 3 years of the contract, and wants to know its progress in order to anticipate orders. But he is constantly adding curative interventions to this schedule. A subsidence the day before a ministerial visit? Quickly, the service provider must identify the problem, then organize himself to intervene during the day.
The construction manager is quickly overwhelmed by the headache of planning, paperwork, permanent field visits and telephone calls.

How does Kraaft help you?
Kraaft makes it possible to share a cartographic interface between the customer and the construction company. For each intervention, the customer or the construction manager can create a construction log. We add a photo, a geolocation point, a voice note, and preparatory documents (orders, DICT). Everyone is aware that the intervention is coming, we can receive alerts when it is over or late. And generate an attachment directly from Kraaft when it is validated by the customer.
In this environment dedicated to the maintenance contract, the construction company can customize with the customer the fields of the intervention form, and the format of the reports generated. The interactive map allows you to explore all current projects, with a color code according to their status. This allows the customer to know the progress of the work directly from their mobile, and to make comments directly from their mobile application.

The construction manager limits unnecessary trips and the site manager becomes more autonomous. For example, the town hall employee identifies a post to be taken back during his tour. He creates the intervention directly on Kraaft, the manager receives a notification in real time, and he can request additional information from the construction manager, who then shares documents or asks the customer for explanatory videos. A date is added to the intervention, the manager fills in the form with photos or videos, then validates the site and generates a Word report for the attachment.
For each site, there is a very simple journal where everyone can send messages via their mobile phone (interface similar to WhatsApp). But when the driver has time, he can also explore the intervention database in spreadsheet format, with the possibility of exporting all the data to an Excel.
